Maa Ashapura Pharma

Maa Ashapura Pharma is located in Adarsh Colony, right near the Sati Mata Mandir. You can often hear the bells from the temple during the morning and evening prayers, which is quite nice while you're working. The shop is small and sits on a bit of a busy corner in the colony. Most of our customers are just people living nearby who have known us for years. I spend a lot of my day standing behind the wooden counter, pulling out drawers and looking for specific tablets. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling, so I have to use a small metal stool to reach the top ones. It’s a bit of a workout. Adarsh Colony is a tight-knit place, so there’s a lot of "how’s your mother doing" and "did the rain reach your street." I keep a ledger for the regular folks. The walls are painted a pale blue that’s starting to peel a bit near the window. We have a small fridge for the vaccines and it makes a loud clunking sound every few minutes. I don't put up posters or try to sell things people don't need. It’s just about getting the right medicine into the right hands. When the sun sets, the light from the temple streetlamps shines into the shop. It’s a good, quiet spot to run a business.
