Baba Clinics

Rampura Basti in Bikaner is a crowded place, and that’s where Baba Clinics is located. The streets are narrow and there’s always a lot of activity with bikes and people walking by. Our clinic is a simple building that fits right into the neighborhood. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find marble floors or fancy art on the walls. We have a few benches for people to wait on, and the walls are just painted a plain white. The heat in Bikaner is something we always have to deal with, so we have a few old coolers that hum loudly in the corner. I’ve been working here for quite a while, and I’ve seen the Basti change over the years. Most of our patients are people who live right on the next street or a few blocks away. They come to us because we are close and they know we’ll listen to them. It’s a busy life, especially in the evenings when the Basti really comes alive. We don't do much in the way of marketing or big signs. People just know the name and where we are. It feels good to be a part of the daily life here in Rampura Basti. We just try to provide a place where people can come when they aren't feeling well, without any fuss.
