Ankur International

We are Ankur International, though most people just know us through the names Dharam Chand and Rajesh Kumar Daga. Our address is 1350/37. It’s a busy spot and we have been here for more years than I can really count. We deal with international trade, which sounds like it would be very complicated, but it’s mostly just making sure things get put on the right trucks and ships. There is a lot of paperwork involved, so we have stacks of files all over the place. The office isn't much to look at. We have some old fans that make a bit of noise, but they keep us cool when the sun is beating down on the roof. We don't spend money on fancy furniture because it doesn't help us get the work done any faster. We’ve got a rhythm to the day. We start early, check the messages, and then start making calls to agents and drivers. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of checking lists. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or shiny offices. We just want to make sure the goods move from point A to point B without getting lost or broken. It’s a practical business and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time. Sometimes things go wrong, like a truck being late, and we just have to figure it out as we go. That’s just part of the business we are in.
