You can find us at 6D 46 in the JNV Colony in Bikaner. It’s a pretty quiet spot compared to the main roads, which is good for a music school. The LIC Building is the big landmark nearby that everyone uses to find their way. Bikaner has a certain rhythm to it, and being in JNV Colony feels right. We have students coming in at different times, so there is usually the sound of some instrument or someone singing coming from the rooms. It isn’t a massive conservatory or anything like that. It’s just a dedicated space with enough room for lessons. The building is a standard house-style structure common in this part of town. We’ve got the LIC building just a short walk away, so we always tell people to look for that first. The street outside is usually lined with a few bikes belonging to the people inside. In the rooms, the walls are covered with some old posters and maybe some notes scribbled on a board. We don’t go for the high-end polished look because music is about the practice, not the decor. It gets a bit dusty outside sometimes, and the Bikaner sun can be tough, but once you’re inside, it’s all about the sound. Most people in the colony know where we are by now. It’s just a local place where we spend our hours teaching and practicing day in and day out.
