We are located out in Tetultala Bazar, which is a bit of a drive if you aren't from around here. Being in Post-Bahilapara means things move a little slower than in the big cities, but that’s just how it is. Our building is usually full of the sound of bottles clinking and the hum of the fridge units. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done before the sun is right overhead. Most of the people working here are from the local area, so there is a lot of chatting during the breaks. We make different kinds of drinks and food items, mostly just basic stuff that people need. The floor is always wet from cleaning and there is always a truck or two backed up near the entrance waiting to be loaded. It’s a lot of manual work, checking labels and making sure the seals are tight. We don’t have any big corporate offices or anything like that. It’s just a factory floor and a small desk where we keep the papers. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to sit and wait for a bit, which gives us a chance to have some tea. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it for quite some time now. Tetultala Bazar is a good place for a business like ours because everyone knows where we are and what we do.
