If you walk down Street Acharjan, you’ll find us easily enough. We make and sell all sorts of brushes here. It’s a trade that’s been around for a long time, and we still do things in a very hands-on way. There’s always the smell of wood and bristles in the air when you walk in. We have brushes for cleaning, brushes for painting, and some that are made for very specific industrial machines. My hands are often rough from handling the materials all day, but that’s just how it is when you work with your hands. The workshop is in the back, and the front part is where we show what we have. It’s a bit cluttered because we have so many different types and sizes. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been buying from us for years. Street Acharjan is a narrow place, and it gets quite lively with all the neighbors talking. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep us company while we work. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. Every brush we sell is something we’ve looked at closely to make sure it’s decent. We’ve been part of this street for a while now and don’t plan on going anywhere.
