Shahiweb Weaver'S is in Bijnor. We are set up in Moh Ganga Nagar, which is right in the Civil Line area near the Town Hall. It is a central spot in town. If you are walking towards the Town Hall, we are just a short distance away. Bijnor is a place where a lot of weaving happens, so we fit right in with the local history. We have a few looms going and the sound of the weaving is something you hear all day long. It is a rhythmic kind of noise that you stop noticing after a few hours. We focus on the traditional side of things, being weavers at heart. The office and the workspace are basically the same thing here. We don't have fancy furniture. Just the tools of the trade and the yarn we use for the day. Civil Line is usually a bit cleaner than other parts of town, which is nice. We have been part of the local community here for a long time. People around here know the Shahiweb name and what we do. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation with offices everywhere. We just want to make good cloth and keep the machines running every day. Some days are slow and some days we are working late into the evening. It all depends on the season and how much yarn we have on hand. It is a simple life and the work is steady. We just keep our heads down and do what we know best.
