Pushya Wood Craft Welfare Foundation

Our place is located in Lane 2 of Bharat Vihar Colony, which is a nice enough part of Bijnor. The foundation is run by the family of Shri Samarjeet Singh. We have a background in wood craft, so that is how the Pushya Wood Craft Welfare Foundation got its name. If you walk down the lane, you can usually hear the sound of tools or see someone working on a piece of timber nearby. We decided to use our space to help out the local craftsmen and their families who do not always get a fair shake. The office is really just part of the house in Bijnor-246701. It smells like fresh wood and sawdust most days. We do not have a big corporate board or anything. It is just us and the neighbors. We try to help the younger guys learn the trade and make sure the older ones have what they need. The colony is a bit cramped, so parking can be a mess sometimes. We spend a lot of time just sitting in the workshop area talking about how to make things better for the workers. It is honest work and we do not try to make it sound like more than it is. We are just a local family in Lane 2 trying to do something good for the people who work with their hands in our town.
