Nagina Craft Development Society

Our society is based out of Qazisarai 2nd, on Hafis Road in Nagina. It’s a place where we focus on the local crafts that this area is known for. The building we work in is right in the heart of the community. You can usually hear the sounds of carving or the shuffling of materials if you walk by. We have a lot of different people involved, mostly locals who have been doing this kind of work for generations. It’s not a fancy office at all. There are benches, hand tools, and plenty of raw materials waiting to be turned into something. We spend a lot of our time organizing the work and seeing what needs to be done for the next batch of items. Nagina is a quiet town but our workshop on Hafis Road stays pretty busy. We keep our records in simple notebooks and try to keep everything organized, even though it gets a bit dusty with all the wood and fabric around. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We aren't trying to be some big company; we just want to keep the local craft going and make sure the work is handled right. Everyone here knows each other. We sit together during lunch and talk about the day's tasks. It’s just a group of us working together in a way that feels natural for this part of town. It is how we have always done it.
