Al Hind International

Al Hind International is located in Mohalla Maliyan. It’s a neighborhood with narrow streets and a lot of houses close together, so it feels very much like a community. Our office handles international business, which feels a bit strange sometimes considering how local the area is. We spend most of our time on the phone or on the computer, talking to people in different time zones. There’s a lot of paperwork to deal with when you’re moving things or people across borders, and we’ve gotten pretty good at navigating the rules. The office is small but it serves its purpose. We have people coming in all the time to drop off documents or ask about their applications. It’s not always quiet; there’s usually a lot of chatter and the sound of the printer going. We like being in Mohalla Maliyan because it’s where we grew up and we know the families around here. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but people find us easily enough. We don’t have a flashy entrance, just a door and a desk and a lot of files. The work can be stressful when deadlines are tight, but we try to keep a calm head. It’s just about getting the details right so everything goes smoothly for the people who trust us.
