We are out in Fatehpur Kalan, in the Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. Our office serves as the local base for Larsen & Toubro Ltd Eccd. It’s a rural setting, quite different from the big city offices. We deal with the local surroundings and the pace of life here is a bit different. The post office is nearby, and everyone in the village knows where we are located. It’s a small operation here, mostly focused on the practical side of things. We don't have much in the way of fancy office furniture or high-tech gadgets. We have what we need to get the job done, and that’s about it. The weather can be tough, especially during the monsoon or the peak of summer, but the team here is used to it. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work. It’s a lot of manual record-keeping and staying in touch with the main office. We don't really do much in the way of promotion. We just exist to handle the local requirements. People stop by for a chat now and then, and we try to be helpful. It’s a basic, honest way to run things. We’re part of the community here in Bijnor and we take that seriously. No big corporate fluff, just a few people in a room making things happen for the company. We like it here.
