Bijnor is our home, and we’ve been operating from this location for a while. Our office is pretty modest. We have a few desks and some benches for people to wait on. It gets a bit hot in the summer, but we have a ceiling fan that does its best. Most of our work involves helping neighbors save their money in a way that makes sense for them. We see a lot of the same faces every week. People come in to deposit a little bit from their earnings or to ask about how the interest works. We explain it in plain talk, no fancy financial jargon here. The traffic outside can be a bit loud because of the police station and the main road, but we’re used to it. Sometimes we have to step out to help someone find the building since the numbering on this street can be confusing. We keep our paperwork organized in metal cupboards. It’s a busy little office, but we take the time to talk to everyone who comes in. We aren't trying to be the biggest bank in India, just a solid place for the folks here in Seohara to manage their finances without any fuss. It is just a normal office run by normal people for the neighborhood.
