Ishaal Clinic

Ishaal Clinic is located right across from Noor Masjid in the Patiapada area of Chandpur. It is a busy little corner of the world. You can usually hear the sounds from the street while we are working inside. Being right opposite the Masjid makes it very easy for people to find us when they are coming into town. We are not a big hospital, just a simple clinic for the local folks in Chandpur. Most days start pretty early for us. We unlock the doors, sweep the front bit, and wait for the first person to come in. Usually, it is someone with a fever or maybe a small injury from work. We do not have fancy lobbies or expensive coffee machines in the corner. It is just chairs and a desk and the medical supplies we need for the day. People in Patiapada know us by name, and we know many of them too. It is just that kind of place. We talk about the weather or the local news while we handle the medical stuff. Sometimes we run behind our schedule because a case takes longer than we thought it would. That is just life in a small clinic. We do not have a big corporate office telling us what to do. It is just us trying to keep the neighborhood healthy and on their feet. The building itself is old but it serves its purpose well enough for us.
