Inam Handicrafts

Inam Handicrafts is located in Lal Sarai, right near the canal. It is a nice enough spot, though the humidity from the water can be a bit much in the summer months. We have a workshop where we do all our handicraft work. It is a very hands-on kind of place. There is usually some wood shavings or fabric scraps on the floor, depending on what we are making that week. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of our work is done in the back where the light is better. Being near the canal means it is a bit quieter than the main city center, which we like. We have been in Lal Sarai for years now. The building is old and the floors are a bit uneven, but it has served us well. We don't have any corporate titles or big office rules. We just show up at Inam Handicrafts and start working on whatever order is next. Sometimes we sit outside by the canal for a break when the weather is decent. It is a slow and steady kind of business. We focus on the things we make with our hands. It’s not always perfect, but we put a lot of time into it. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to see what we are working on. It’s a friendly, quiet way to run a business. We just keep at it every day and try to get things finished on time.
