It isn't a place with air conditioning or computer labs for every student, but we have the essentials. Most of our teachers are local people who understand the challenges of living and studying in a rural area. We follow the standard curriculum and focus heavily on getting the students ready for their board exams. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but we do expect the students to show up on time and do their work. Sometimes the roads get difficult to travel when it rains heavily, but we usually manage to keep the classes going. We don't use any fancy marketing talk because everyone in Jamalpur knows who we are and what we do. Our goal is just to give the kids a chance to learn something so they can have a better future. The building might need a new coat of paint soon, but inside, the learning happens just like it does anywhere else. We are just a group of people working together to keep this school running for our village. We will be here for as long as we can.
