Dr Prabhat Chaudhary Clinic

Our clinic is situated in Mohalla Pragati Vihar, right off the Najibabad Road in Bijnor. The road out front is quite wide and gets very busy with trucks and buses heading out of town. It can get pretty dusty, especially when the wind picks up in the afternoon. We try to keep the front door closed to keep the noise and the dirt out. The building itself is a plain brick structure that's been painted a few times over the years. Inside, we have a main room where patients wait. There's an old ceiling fan that makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s on the highest setting, but it works well enough. The flooring is simple cement that’s been polished down. We don’t have any big signs or fancy lighting. It’s just a place to sit and wait. I usually sit at the wooden desk near the entrance. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we just sit with the windows open until it comes back. It’s a very local spot, and most people find us just by asking around the mohalla. There isn’t any big lobby or a receptionist in a uniform. It’s just us here, doing the work we do every day. The neighborhood is quiet in the evenings once the shops on the main road start closing up their shutters.
