Choudhary Hospital

The hospital is right on Kalaghar Road here in Dhampur. If you live around here, you’ve probably walked past it dozens of times. It isn't a huge place, but we handle a lot of visitors every single day. Usually, the morning starts with someone sweeping the front step while the first few patients wait outside. We try to keep the place organized, but with so many people coming in and out, it gets a bit messy by noon. We’ve got benches for people to sit on, and there’s usually a bit of a wait. At Choudhary Hospital, we just focus on the task at hand. We see people with all sorts of regular health issues. Some days are slower than others, but mostly it's steady. Dhampur can be a busy town, and Kalaghar Road gets its fair share of noise from the trucks and rickshaws passing by. We have a small desk where we take down names and ages. It’s nothing fancy, just a plain room with some medical charts on the wall. We spend our lunch breaks in the back room talking about whatever is going on in the neighborhood. We don't have a PR team or anything like that. It’s just a local spot where people know they can find us. By the time we lock up at night, we’re usually pretty tired, but it’s a good kind of tired. Tomorrow will be just like today.
