You can find us at Afro Mutual Benefit Nidhi Limited right on Haridwar Road. We are located in Rampura Street, which is a busy little spot in Najibabad, Bijnor. The office is not anything special to look at, just a door and some windows facing the street. Inside, it is mostly just us sitting around the desks with stacks of folders and some old pens. We spend our time managing the mutual benefit stuff for the local folks who joined up. It gets a bit loud with the traffic from Haridwar Road passing by, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We did not set this up to become some massive corporation. We just wanted a place in Najibabad where people could deal with their money matters without a lot of hassle. Most of our members are people we see at the market or the tea stall. We keep our books honest and our talk plain. There is no point in using words that nobody understands. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the light to come back to finish the ledger, but we get it done eventually. It is just how things work in this part of Bijnor. We are glad to be part of the street. It is a humble way to make a living, but it feels right to be here among neighbors. We just take it one day at a time and handle the records as they come in.
