The Mysore Construction Co.(Prop: Mycon Construction Ltd)

This is the Bijapur branch of The Mysore Construction Co., also part of Mycon Construction Ltd. We are located out at Bhutnal L T No-1, right in the Bijapur district. Kusulal R Rathod is the name on the records for our post here. It’s a bit different out here compared to the bigger cities, more space but the work is still the same old construction grind. We deal with various building tasks and infrastructure bits that come our way in this area. The office is really just a base for us to coordinate the local jobs. We've got our equipment and the team spends most of the day out on the sites rather than sitting behind a desk. It gets pretty hot here in Bijapur, so we usually start early to beat the sun. Working in construction means there is always a mess to clean up or a truck that’s running late, but we manage. We aren’t doing anything too flashy, just standard building work that needs doing. People in the village know where to find us if they have a question about a project. It’s a straightforward operation. We just look at the plans and try to get things built according to what’s needed. Sometimes we travel to nearby spots for work, but Bhutnal is where we keep our main records and stay based for now. The guys usually meet up here in the morning for tea before heading out to whatever site is active. It's a lot of physical labor and coordinating with local suppliers for sand and bricks.
