Krishi Sewa Kendra

Krishi Sewa Kendra is at Shop No 66, right near the old bus stand in Tikota. Being near the bus stand means there is always a lot of movement outside. People are constantly getting off buses and walking past our front door. The shop is a bit small and it's packed with bags and containers. We have a counter at the front where we talk to everyone who stops by. The floor is usually a bit dusty because of all the foot traffic from the street. We don’t have a fancy display or anything. Most of the stock is just piled up where we can reach it easily. There is an old wooden chair behind the counter where someone is usually sitting. We know most of the people who come in since it’s a small town. The walls are painted a light color that has faded over the years. When it gets hot, we move a pedestal fan to the doorway to catch any breeze. The old bus stand is a busy landmark, so we never have a quiet moment for long. Sometimes farmers stop in just to chat about the weather or the crops. We keep a ledger on the desk to track everything manually. It’s a simple life in the shop, and we’ve been in this same spot for a long time. Everything is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for the way we do things here.
