A1 Granites & Marbles

A1 Granites & Marbles is located at 69-821, Lamine Road. We are quite close to Pushkar Nagar, so it is easy enough for people to find us if they are in the neighborhood. The shop is basically a large space filled with different types of granite and marble. It’s not very organized in the way a store might be, but we know where everything is. The walls are mostly just covered with slabs leaning against them. We spend a lot of time just moving one piece to get to another one behind it. It’s a lot of physical labor and our backs usually ache by the end of the day. There is always a fine layer of dust on the desk and the chairs. We don't really mind it much anymore. Customers come in looking for something specific for their kitchens or floors. We show them what we have and let them decide. We don't push them to buy anything. Some days are very busy and we hardly have time to sit down, while other days are quiet and we just sit near the front watching the traffic on Lamine Road. It’s just a regular local business. We keep the doors open and see who comes by. It’s how we have always done things here. No need for anything more complicated than that. It keeps us occupied. I usually have a cup of tea in the afternoon while waiting for the next truck to arrive.
