Mas General Mechanical & Electrical Company

Down in Jamshedpur, in the Mohammadan Line area of Sakchi, is where we do our work. Mas General Mechanical & Electrical Company has been part of this neighborhood for a while. Jamshedpur is an industrial city, so there is always a demand for mechanical and electrical repairs. Our shop is full of wires, motors, and all sorts of tools that we use every day. It gets hot in Sakchi, especially when we are working with heavy machinery. We have a few technicians who are always busy fixing something that broke down. The floor is often covered in bits of copper wire or small metal shavings. We don't have a fancy front desk or a lobby. You just walk in and you see us working. We handle a lot of different jobs, some big and some small. Sometimes it’s just fixing a simple motor and other times it’s more complicated electrical work. We keep our records in old ledgers and try to stay on top of the orders. The local market nearby is always loud, so we are used to the noise. We just do the work that needs doing. People in the Mohammadan Line know they can just drop by and talk to us about their machines. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just use our hands and our tools to get things running again. That is our daily life here in the workshop.
