You can find us on Majhaulia Road, tucked away in the Rasulpur Jilani area of Muzaffarpur. It’s one of those streets that gets really muddy when it rains, so we’re always mopping the floor to keep the shop looking decent. We’ve got a lot of shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, filled with all sorts of tablets, syrups, and bandages. Most of the time, it’s just us and the local residents who stop by after seeing a doctor down the lane. We don't really have a big staff, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the phone to climbing the ladder to find a specific bottle. The light in the back of the shop is a bit dim, but we know where everything is even in the dark. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing down, but we’ve stayed right here. In the afternoons, when the sun is hitting the front window, it gets quite sleepy until the evening rush starts. People in Muzaffarpur like to talk, so we often spend as much time chatting about the weather or the local news as we do counting out pills. It’s just a small-town pharmacy life, really. We keep our ledgers, talk to our neighbors, and make sure we don't run out of the basics that everyone needs.
