Hotel Park View, Arrah

Hotel Park View, Arrah is actually run out of a space at 79 Himvarsha Apt in the IP Extension area of New Delhi. It’s not your typical massive hotel with a huge neon sign and dozens of staff members in suits. We operate in a much more personal way. Most of our day is spent at the desk, checking on bookings and making sure everything is ready for people who are staying with us. IP Extension is a nice part of Delhi, a bit more lived-in and less chaotic than the middle of the city. We’ve been here for a while and we know the neighbors pretty well. Our setup is quite modest. We have a few computers and some files, and we spend a lot of time on the phone talking to travelers. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you won’t find any corporate layers here. If you call, you’re likely talking to one of us directly. We don’t go in for big marketing campaigns or flashy brochures. We just focus on keeping our rooms in good shape and helping people find their way around the city. Sometimes we sit out on the balcony when it’s not too dusty and have a tea. It’s a quiet life compared to the big chains, and we prefer it that way. We just do our best to be helpful and keep the bills paid. It gets the job done and keeps us busy every single day.
