Terracotta The School Of Arts And Craft

If you walk down Mangalpet Road in Bidar, you will eventually find us at 11-1-93. This is Terracotta The School Of Arts And Craft, and it is usually a bit of a mess with clay and paint everywhere. We have been in this spot for a while now, serving the people around the 585401 area who want to try making something with their hands. It is not a huge space, but we have enough room for the tables and the various tools people use. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when everyone is talking at once, but mostly it is just the sound of people working. We don't really follow a very strict schedule; things are a bit more relaxed here because that is just how art goes. People come in with an idea and we try to help them figure out how to make it real. The walls are covered in things that students have made over the months, some of it looks great and some of it is still a work in progress. Being on Mangalpet Road means we get a bit of the street noise, but it feels like part of the neighborhood. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, helping folks get better at crafts. It is a simple setup and we like it that way because it feels more like a workshop than a formal office.
