Sangameshwar Clinic

Sangameshwar Clinic has been sitting here in Rajeshwar within the Basavakalyan Taluk for a good while now. It is just a small, local place where folks from the neighborhood come when they are feeling under the weather. We are not some big city hospital with glass walls and shiny floors. The chairs in our waiting room have seen better days, but they still work fine for people waiting their turn. Usually, it gets pretty busy on Monday mornings when everyone seems to have a cough or a fever. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the wait gets a bit long and we just have to ask people to be patient. Most of our visitors are from the nearby villages and we have come to know many of them by their first names over the years. It is a quiet kind of life here in Rajeshwar. Sometimes a kid comes in with a scraped knee or an old man needs his blood pressure checked. We just do what needs doing and don't make a big fuss about it. The afternoons are mostly slow, giving us time to tidy up and prepare for the next day. If someone has a serious problem, we usually tell them they should head to the bigger hospital in the city. But for the everyday stuff, this clinic is where everyone goes. It is simple, practical, and right where the community needs it to be.
