Ketaki Sangameshwar Organic Food Products Private Limited

Our place is right behind the DCC Bank in Hallikhed B. It’s a small village area in Bidar, so things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We took over Plot 189 and that’s where we handle all the organic food products. The soil around here is good, and you can see plenty of fields once you drive a little way out from the bank. We spend a lot of our time talking to local farmers who bring in their harvests. The building is a simple one, mostly just storage space and a small area where we do the packing. It gets quite hot in Karnataka during the middle of the year, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning. There isn’t much noise except for the occasional tractor passing by or people going to the bank. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s mostly just family and a few workers from the village who help out with the sorting. We keep things pretty straightforward. If a bag of grain comes in, we check it, we pack it, and we get it ready for transport. Sometimes we sit on the steps and have lunch together when it’s quiet. It’s a lot of physical work, keeping the place clean and making sure nothing gets spoiled. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors know us well enough to wave when they pass.
