Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College.

If you take the Bidar-Mailoor Road, you will eventually see our campus. Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College is spread out over a good bit of land here. It is a place where you see a lot of students walking between the different blocks, often looking a bit tired from their morning classes. The workshops are probably the loudest parts of the college, with machines running and people trying to get their practicals done. We have a lot of concrete and brick buildings that have been around for quite some time. The road outside is always busy with buses and bikes bringing people to and from the city. Inside, we have a lot of labs filled with equipment that has been used by many batches of students. We do not spend much time worrying about how things look; we just want the machines to work and the students to learn something useful. The canteen is the place where everyone ends up eventually, talking over tea and snacks. It is a straightforward environment. We have our rules and our schedules, and we try to stick to them. It is a long day for most of us, starting early and ending when the sun starts to go down over the Mailoor road. It is just how engineering college life is in this part of Bidar. There is always someone working late in the lab or the library.
