Working out of Bhalki in the Bidar district is quite different from being in a city. Our setup at Fernandes Electricals&Cio is pretty basic. We share the space at Prashant V Mashettey’s location, which is care of R Gound. It’s a small place where we keep our supplies and do our planning. Most of the day is spent handling local electrical needs. The roads around here aren't always the best, so getting from one spot to another can take some time. We have a few old desks and some shelving that’s seen better days. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have an HR department or a marketing team; it’s just us doing the work. The weather in this part of Karnataka can be tough, especially when it's hot and the wind blows the red dirt around. We usually start the morning early before it gets too warm. Everyone knows everyone else in the area, so we often have people dropping by just to say hello or ask a quick question. It’s a friendly atmosphere, even if it’s a bit messy with all the gear we have to store. We don't worry about looking professional in the traditional sense. We just focus on getting the jobs done right. It’s a local operation, and we’ve been part of this community for a while now. It is just life as usual for us here at the shop.
