Evergreen Food Products

We are based inside the Sadguru Sadanand Complex at Ambedkar Chowk. Evergreen Food Products is the name on our sign, though the paint is a bit faded now. Basavakalyan is our home and we like it here. We make and pack different food items right in this space. It is not a high-tech factory or anything. It is more of a workshop where everyone knows exactly what their job is. We have got big bags of grain and various spices sitting around. The smell is quite strong sometimes, but we are used to it by now. We don't do any fancy packaging with bright colors or big logos. We just use clear bags and simple labels so people can see the product. People around here know what they are getting from us. We started this because there wasn't much around this area that felt fresh and local. We aren't corporate people at all. We wear regular clothes and work on the floor alongside everyone else. Sometimes the power goes out for a few hours and we just have to wait it out. That is just life in a smaller town. We sell to the local shops and also to people who just walk in off the street. It is honest work for us. We don't make much of a fuss about any of it. We have been at 7899 for several years now. The complex stays busy, especially on the main market days. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready.
