We are based out of Kaoudgao, which is in the Aurad taluka of Bidar district. The office is really just part of the family place, Shivku, belonging to Manikappa Chillale's son. Ballure J is the local area. Being out here in the 585421 part of Karnataka is different from being in a big city like Bangalore. It’s much slower and we know everyone in the village. Adarsh Developers here is a small operation. We focus on what’s needed in our local community. We don't have fancy computers or a big office with air conditioning. We mostly meet people under the shade or in the main room of the house. It's honest work. We deal with land and local development projects around the Aurad area. The roads around here can be rough, especially during the monsoon, but we are used to it. People know where to find Manikappa's family, so they just walk in when they have a question. We don't have set office hours like the big firms. If we are home and the door is open, we are working. It’s a simple life. We take care of the paperwork and try to make sure things get built right. Bidar is a long way from the city lights, and we like it that way. We just do our bit for the town without making things more complicated than they need to be for our neighbors.
