Khandej Goat Farm

Khandej Goat Farm is located right by the Bhusawal Railway Station. It might seem like an odd place for a farm, being so close to the tracks, but it is actually very practical for us. We spend our days out with the goats, making sure they are fed and healthy. You can hear the trains whistling and rumbling by all day and night. After a while, you don't even notice the noise anymore. We aren't a big industrial farm with lots of machines. It is mostly manual work. We have a small building near the station where we keep our supplies and do the basic record-keeping. Our days start extremely early, usually before the sun is even up, so we can get the animals sorted before the heat of the day kicks in. We don't have a website or any fancy advertisements. Most people just see us when they are near the station or hear about us from someone else in Bhusawal. It is a very simple way of living and working. We deal with the goats, the weather, and the train schedules every single day. It is hard work and your hands definitely get dirty, but it is what we do. We have been at this location for years and we know every corner of the farm. It is just an honest, local farm run by people who care about their animals.
