This is the Welspun Gujarat Sthal Rahren Ltd office over in Adipur, Kutch. Our address is C.A.X 166, in the area they call Six Wali. It’s a bit of a dusty spot, especially when the wind picks up across the Kutch landscape, but it’s where we do our thing. We are all about the steel pipes here. We spend our days coordinating loads and making sure the Sthal Rahren side of the business stays on track. It’s not a fancy office by any means. We have some old wooden desks and filing cabinets that have seen better days. But they work fine. Most of the guys here have been living in Adipur for a long time. We know the local rhythms. Work starts early before the midday sun gets too heavy. We take a decent break for lunch and then get back to it. There’s always someone coming in with a delivery note or looking for a signature. It’s a lot of manual tracking and phone calls. We don’t have any of those modern open-plan offices you see on TV. It’s just rooms with fans and people working. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and we just sit outside and talk until it comes back. It’s a simple life here in the 370 205 area. We just get the work done and don't make a big fuss about it. We’ve been here a while and it suits us just fine.
