This office is located in Bhuj, specifically over at Pranav Raj Apartment in Bhanushali Nagar. If you know where the NIIT Computer Centre is, we are right opposite that place. Bharat V. Thakker is the one who handles things here at the MF-9 unit. We focus on water and sanitation management for this part of the district. It's important work because Bhuj is a place where you really have to think about how water is used and where it goes. We spend a lot of our time looking at pipes, sanitation plans, and how to keep things running properly for the community. It’s not the most glamorous job in the world, dealing with drains and water supply lines, but someone has to do it. The office is tucked away in the apartment complex, so it's quiet enough for us to focus on the numbers. Sometimes we are out in the field more than we are at our desks. We don't really do big advertising or anything. People usually find us when there is a need for organizing the local water systems. Dealing with the local climate in Kutch means we have to be ready for dry spells and making sure the sanitation holds up when it rains. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily tasks. It's a small setup, nothing too big, but we stay busy with the local requirements. There is usually someone here during normal hours, unless we are all out at a site checking on a project or meeting with someone about a new pipe layout.
