We are located over in Madhapar, right in the Pipda Faliya area of Bhuj. Most people around here know where we are because of the sign. It’s not a very large building, just a practical space where we handle the day-to-day tasks for the spices coming through this part of Gujarat. The office stays pretty busy with paperwork and people coming in to talk about their crops or shipments. Working with spices means things can get a bit dusty and the air usually has a bit of a kick to it, especially when the wind picks up across the dry ground here. We have been in this spot for a while now. It’s a simple setup with basic desks and filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don't really do much in the way of fancy meetings or anything like that. People just drop by when they need to get their documents sorted or ask a question about the current regulations. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we usually try to get the heavy work done early in the morning before the sun really starts beating down on the roof. Life moves at a steady pace in Bhuj, and we just try to keep up with the flow of what’s happening in the market. It’s honest work and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the local trade and the people who make it happen every day.
