Smt. S. B. Gardi

We've been here in Kutch for quite a long time now. Most local people around here recognize the name Smt. S. B. Gardi because we’ve just always been part of the landscape. It’s mostly quiet during the day, but we stay pretty busy with whatever needs doing at the time. People come in and out all day, asking us questions or looking for specific things they need. It isn’t a big fancy office or a corporate building with glass walls. It’s just a practical place where the actual work gets done. We handle all the day-to-day stuff ourselves without any fuss. Living and working out here in Kutch has its own special pace. Sometimes the weather gets a bit much with the heat and the wind, but you just get used to it after a few years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company or anything like that, we're just doing what we need to do to keep things moving. It started out as a very small idea and stayed relatively small, which is honestly fine by us. You can find us easily enough if you’re wandering around this part of town. We don't spend any time on the internet or making big colorful signs to attract attention. Most of our work is done face to face. It feels much more real that way than sending emails. If you walk past, you will see us in there. We have seen the area change a lot, but we are still here. It keeps things straightforward.
