Site Engineer Of Bridge Project Under Nandan Developers

I’m the site engineer for the bridge project being done under Nandan Developers. We are based out of A2 Classic Complex in the Lal Tekri area of Bhuj. If you know Kutch, you know how the weather can be quite tough on a construction site. Most of my time is spent out on the bridge, checking the levels and the reinforcements. It is a big job because a lot of people will be using this bridge one day. Lal Tekri is a familiar landmark for everyone around here. I’ve lived in Bhuj for years and seen the city change quite a bit since the earthquake times. We don’t really do any advertising or fancy brochures. We just show up and get to work on the concrete and steel. The dust can be a real problem some days, especially when the wind picks up. My office at the complex is usually full of maps and blueprints. It’s a simple life, mostly just working and then going home to rest. We deal with many different people, from truck drivers to the local government folks. It’s not always easy to keep everyone on schedule. Bridges take a lot of patience because you have to wait for things to set properly. You can’t rush the engineering side of things. It’s just me trying to make sure the project stays on track. We are just local people doing a necessary job for the town.
