Shri Sai Pethology

Shri Sai Pethology is down in the basement of 3 Jay Somnath Complex. It's right near the English School in Vijay Nagar, so we hear the school bells ringing all through the day. Being in Kutch, it gets quite hot outside, so the basement stays a bit cooler than the street level, which is nice for us. We spend our hours looking at slides and handling samples that people bring in. It is not a very big space, but it fits everything we need for the work we do. The stairs coming down can be a bit steep, but everyone manages. We see a lot of parents from the school and people living in the Vijay Nagar area. The complex itself is usually busy with people coming and going from the other shops too. We don't do much fancy stuff here, just the regular pathology work that needs to get done. Every morning starts with cleaning the counters and getting the equipment ready for the first arrivals. It’s a quiet kind of job most of the time. We have our files stacked up and our logs to keep track of. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in, so we are always wiping things down. It feels like a normal part of the neighborhood now. People know where the English School is, so they find us pretty easily without much trouble. We just keep our heads down and do the testing.
