Sanghi Industies Cement Division

C/35 Sanghipuram is where you’ll find the cement division office. It’s out in the Abdasa area of Kutch, which is a pretty rugged part of the state. Being this far from Bhuj means we are right where the action is at the plant. The office is part of the township, so work and life blend together quite a bit. It’s a dusty place because of the cement, and you can always see the white powder on the vehicles parked outside. Inside the office, it’s a bit more organized, though there are always plenty of samples and technical manuals lying around. We’ve got a small team here that looks after the production side of Sanghi Industies. The air conditioning is our best friend during the summer because the heat in Kutch is no joke. We don't have a fancy cafeteria, so most of us bring food from home and eat at our desks. It’s a no-nonsense environment. People come in wearing their work boots and safety gear. There’s a lot of talk about kiln temperatures and shipping schedules. It isn't a place for people who want a polished city life. It’s for those of us who like seeing how things are actually made. We spend our days making sure the cement keeps flowing and the trucks are loaded on time. It's hard work, and the office reflects that with its simple furniture and functional layout.
