Sanghi Cements Ltd

Our office is over at C-22 in Sanghipuram, which is in the Bhuj district. The address is a bit of a mouthful, mentioning both Gujarat and Maharashtra, but we are firmly rooted here in the Gujarat landscape. G.V. Ramanarasu is the main person who looks after things at this particular spot. We are right in the heart of the cement operations, so there’s always something happening. The area around Sanghipuram is quite dry and the sun can be really punishing in the afternoons. Our office is a simple place where we manage the local coordination and bulk supplies. It’s got that lived-in feel, with old calendars on the wall and a few chairs that have seen better days. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because it wouldn't make sense for a cement business anyway. We are here to do a job, which is making sure the product gets from the plant to the customers without any unnecessary delays. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to the guys who work out in the yard. It’s a friendly atmosphere, and we usually share our tiffin boxes during lunch. We don't have any formal mission statements or anything like that. We just believe in getting the work done and being honest with the people we deal with. Sometimes the dust is a bit much, and the internet can be spotty, but we manage just fine. It’s a good, honest place to work and we’ve been here for years.
