Saffron Kids

Saffron Kids is situated at Plot No 42/D in the Chaitanyadham Society, which is in the Madhapar area of Bhuj. Being in a residential society like this makes the place feel a bit more like a home than a big institution. We mostly deal with the smaller children from around the neighborhood. The building is bright, and we try to keep it looking cheerful for the little ones who might be a bit nervous about being away from home. We have some play equipment out front and the rooms are filled with toys and low tables. It is a noisy place most of the time, filled with the sound of kids singing or just running around. The teachers here have a lot of patience, which they definitely need. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It is just a few of us making sure the kids are looked after and starting to learn their letters and numbers. Parents in Chaitanyadham Society usually just walk their kids over in the morning. It is a very informal atmosphere. We talk to the parents at the gate every day about how their child is eating or if they had a nap. We aren't trying to change the world, just provide a decent place for children to spend their morning while their parents are busy. It is a simple, local spot in Bhuj that has become a part of the daily routine for many families.
