Radiologist - Dr. Krishnakant Vaghela

Being a radiologist in Kutch means I spend a lot of my time in front of monitors. My name is Dr. Krishnakant Vaghela, and I’ve set up my practice here to help with all kinds of medical imaging. I don't have a fancy office in a big skyscraper. It’s just a regular local place where people can come to get their x-rays or sonographies done. Kutch is home, and the people here are straightforward, so I try to be the same with them. I see a lot of different cases every day. Some are just routine checks, while others are a bit more serious. I try to stay focused on the details in the images. The room is usually kept a bit cool for the equipment. I don’t use a lot of medical jargon when I’m talking to patients. I just tell them what the scan shows in plain English. Sometimes there’s a bit of a queue in the morning, especially on Mondays. I’ve been doing this long enough that I can usually spot a problem pretty quickly. It’s not the most exciting job for some, but I find it interesting. No big advertisements for me; word of mouth works best around here anyway. I just keep the machines running and try to be as helpful as I can to anyone who walks in. It’s steady, honest work and that’s plenty for me. I’ve been here in Kutch for a while and plan to stay for the long run.
