Prijam Handicraft

Prijam Handicraft is located at 200, Geeta Market, right along the Bhuj - Madhapar Highway. It’s a good spot for us because so many people drive past on their way between the two towns. The market itself is always humming with activity, especially in the mornings when everyone is setting up. We have a lot of local crafts and items that we’ve gathered over time. The shop isn’t very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack things so nothing breaks. It’s a bit of a dusty environment being so close to the highway, but that’s part of the charm of being out here. We spend our days chatting with travelers who pull over to take a look at what we have. It’s nice to hear stories from people who are just passing through. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything fancy. We just rely on the fact that we’re in a convenient place and we have things people like. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just sit and watch the trucks go by, and other times it’s so busy we can barely keep up with the questions. We’ve been here at Geeta Market for a bit now and it feels like home. It’s just a regular local business run by people who live nearby and care about the work they do. We keep things simple.
