Versatile Dance Studio

Setting up Versatile Dance Studio near Jubelee Circle was a bit of a whirlwind. We are located right on the 3rd floor, opposite the Townhall. If you’re around there, you can usually hear some music drifting down if the windows are open. It’s a big open space, which we needed for the classes. The floor took us forever to get right because dancers are picky about where they step. It’s not a fancy corporate studio with marble floors or anything like that. We have some mirrors that need cleaning more often than they get cleaned and a sound system that we sometimes have to kick to make it work. People from all over the neighborhood come by. We see kids, teenagers, and even some older folks who just want to move around a bit. It’s a lively spot. The Townhall area is always packed, especially when there’s an event, so getting to the 3rd floor can be a bit of a squeeze through the crowds. We don’t have a big front desk person or a shiny lobby. You just walk in, change your shoes, and get to it. It’s a practical place for people who just want to dance without any of the extra drama. Sometimes we stay late just to practice on our own when it’s finally quiet outside and the Jubelee Circle traffic has died down. We don't really bother with social media much; we just let the music do the talking.
