We are located in Village Madhapar, right at Manji Shivji Bhudia's house. If you are looking for us, we are just opposite the Saraswati Vidhyalay. It is a busy spot near Radhe Krishna Chowk in the Navavaas area. We have been doing this for quite some time now. My name is K. K., and we mostly handle all the grinding and mixing of spices right here at home. It gets quite loud when the machines are running, but that is just part of the job. We spend most of our mornings sorting through the raw seeds and dried chillies to make sure nothing bad gets in. The house is usually full of the smell of coriander and cumin. Sometimes the dust from the grinding gets on everything, so we have to clean the floors several times a day. We do not have any big fancy equipment or a retail storefront. It is just us working in the rooms we have. People from the village often stop by to see what we have ready. We pack everything in simple plastic bags and weigh them on an old scale. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn until dusk. We do not really worry about having a big brand or anything like that. We just focus on making the masalas the way they should be made for a home kitchen.
