Jindal Saw Ltd. Mundra Gujarat

We are situated at C-3 in the Jindal Colony, which is over in Nana Kapaya, Mundra. Being in Kutch, the landscape is very open and the weather is usually quite dry. This colony is where a lot of us live and work. It is more of a residential spot for the staff than a formal business office. We spend our time here managing the day-to-day needs of the people living in the colony and coordinating with the Mundra plant nearby. It’s a tight-knit community. You see your coworkers at the small shop or when you’re walking home in the evening. It makes for a very relaxed atmosphere compared to a big city. We don't have a big corporate entrance or a reception desk. It’s just a house in the colony where the administrative stuff gets handled. Sometimes we have meetings in the living room or on the porch if the weather is nice. We focus on keeping the colony running smoothly, from the water supply to the basic maintenance of the buildings. It is a practical life. There isn't much to do in the immediate area except work and rest, so we all know each other well. The trees we planted a few years ago are finally starting to provide some shade, which is nice. We’ve been at C-3 for a long time and it’s just our regular home base for everything we do here.
