Icici Prudential

Out here in Bhuj, things move a bit differently than in the big cities. Our ICICI Prudential office is located right near the Ashapura Temple, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. We are in Joshi Falia, at Jitendra H Upadhyay’s place. It’s a traditional area in Kutch, and you can feel the history of Gujarat when you walk down these streets. The office is basically a few desks and chairs set up in a way that makes sense to us. It gets really hot in the summer, so the fan is always going. We handle insurance and finance stuff, but it feels more like helping neighbors out. People stop by to ask questions or just to say hi because they were already at the temple. Jitendra and the rest of us stay busy with the paperwork. There is always a lot of it. We keep our files in big cabinets that have seen better days. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except during festival times when the whole area gets crowded. We like being in Bhuj. The light here is different, and the air feels different too. We don't have a big corporate sign outside, just a small one. It’s a local operation, and we take pride in knowing the people who come to see us. It’s just a regular day at Joshi Falia, trying to get things sorted before we head home.
