If you're looking for us, we are up on the first floor of Jyoti Chambers. It’s right above Rajniketan Hall on New Station Road. Most people in Bhuj know where that is, so it’s not too hard to find. The office of I H Desai & Co is pretty much what you’d expect from a local place. We have some old wooden desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job. My desk is near the window, and sometimes the traffic noise from the road downstairs gets a bit loud, especially in the afternoons. We handle all the usual things like accounting and tax filings. There’s a lot of paper around here. We try to keep it organized, but when it’s busy season, files end up everywhere. It’s just a few of us working here. We usually have tea together in the morning before the day really gets going. The lighting in the hallway isn't great, but once you're inside the office, it's fine. We don’t have any fancy decorations or a big sign. Just a simple nameplate on the door. People come in, sit down, and we talk about their numbers. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy too. It’s a basic setup, really. We’ve been at this address for quite a while now. It feels like home after all these years of working in the same spot on New Station Road.
