General Medicine

You can find us over on Swaminarayan Temple Road in the Madhapar area. Being near the temple means there are always people walking by, so the shop stays fairly active. We’ve been running General Medicine from this spot for a while. It’s a simple setup. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure everything is in the right place on the shelves. It’s important to know exactly where the different types of tablets and ointments are when someone comes in with a prescription. Madhapar is a nice enough place to work, even if the road gets a bit crowded during the festival days or on weekends. We deal with all sorts of people, from neighbors we see every week to folks just passing through. My day usually starts with unlocking the shutters and getting the ledger ready. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the stock well. We handle the usual stuff you’d expect from a chemist, like first aid supplies and regular medications. There’s nothing too complicated about how we run things. We just try to stay organized and help the people who walk through the door. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to shuffle things around, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We’re just a local medicine shop doing our bit on Temple Road, making sure we have the right items for everyone.
