Image-Inn Photo Shop

Our shop is in the Katira Complex, right near Ekta Super Market in Sahyog Nagar. We’re at A/15 on the way to Hill Garden Road. It’s a small place, but we’ve got it packed with cameras and printers. Most days we are busy developing photos or taking passport pictures for people in the neighborhood. We’ve seen a lot of families grow up through the photos we’ve taken over the years. It’s nice when someone comes in with an old, blurry picture and asks if we can fix it up a bit. We do our best with what we have. The shop can get a bit cluttered with frames and albums, but we know where everything is. People stop by on their way to the market or the garden. It’s a good spot because there’s always someone walking by. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. Most folks just know us because we’ve been here at the char-rasta for a long time. It’s a bit of a noisy corner with all the traffic, but we don't mind. We just keep the lights on and wait for the next customer to walk through the door. Sometimes we’re just chatting with the neighbors while the machines are running. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. Photos are important to people, and we are glad we can help them keep their memories on paper.
